Compassionate Alliance and Banner of Love Ministries Partner to Help the Critical Medical Need in Tanzania

Tanzania, a country of over 40 million, is in desperate need of medical help. 90% of the population lives on the equivalent of $2.00 a day. Over 50% of the adult population is unemployed and 38% of the people have no access to safe drinking water. Children are in crisis and their situation is even more serious. Malaria is the cause of death for 43% of the children under 5 years of age and 33% of those older than 5 years. In some areas, pregnant women and others who need medical services have to walk up to 25 miles to reach the nearest medical facility.

You can help these people in need. You are invited to share a gift of love which will help send a 40 foot container of medical supplies to Tanzania. The medical equipment, medicines and supplies have already been procured. We need $20,000 to ship the container to Africa. Send your gift to Compassionate Alliance marked "Tanzania". The container will be shipped as soon as we have the funds. When the container arrives in Africa, Banner of Love Ministries will distribute the medicine through local churches and will make sure that the equipment will serve those in greatest need.
